Exploring Transfer is a four-week residential summer program at Vassar for community college and tribal college students thinking about transferring to a four-year college. Students take one course co-taught by a Vassar professor and a community college professor, plus transfer workshops, and earn the equivalent of one course credit at their home school.

Why it matters

Many partner campuses are NYC-area community colleges (BMCC, Kingsborough, LaGuardia, SUNY Westchester and others), and the program is fully funded, so it is a free way to prepare a strong transfer application.
