No citizenship or residency requirement; eligibility is based on CUNY enrollment or recent alumni status.

Eligibility

At least one team member must be a current CUNY student (or a CUNY graduate from the past year) holding at least 5% equity in the startup. Non-CUNY members are allowed. The startup needs a working MVP: a pitch deck, landing page or clickable mockup is not enough.

What you need

• At least one current CUNY student or graduate from the past year on the team
• A functional MVP (with a backend for tech products)
• Fridays, February 5 to April 16, 2027, hybrid

How to apply

Apply online. Spring 2027 cohort runs February 5 to April 16, 2027, on Fridays (in person 10 AM–12 PM, virtual 12–2 PM).

Spring 2027 applications open November 23, 2026. They are reviewed on a rolling basis and spots are first come, first served. Program runs 10 Fridays, February 5 – April 16, 2027.
