A national community of Black and Latinx computer science undergraduates that offers year-round community building, academic support and career development, including workshops, coaching and recruiting connections.

Why it matters

Membership depends on your major, school location and identity, not on citizenship, so it is a useful tech career network for African, Caribbean and Latin American immigrant students in CS.

The official page does not state a citizenship or immigration rule. Confirm with the organizer before you invest time.

The official page lists no citizenship or immigration requirement. Confirm with the organizer before you invest time. ColorStack's Member Application Requirements page only asks that you study CS (or a close major) at an undergraduate school in the U.S. or Canada. It says students residing or studying outside the U.S. and Canada are not eligible.

Eligibility

You must be enrolled in an undergraduate computer science or closely related major (data science, computer engineering, information systems and similar) at a U.S. or Canadian school, and identify as Black, Latinx, Native American, or a demonstrated ally. Your application must match your up-to-date LinkedIn profile (school, major, graduation year).
